Akbuk is located just 15 minutes drive from the tourist resort of Altinkum, where there are numerous bars, restaurants, Aqua Park, clubs, discos and fantastic sandy beaches. A regular Dolmus bus service is available from Bay View Resort which will cost about 50p.

Akbuk is surrounded by mountains covered in pine and olive trees and has a stunning natural coastline with calm waters and clean beaches where you can walk for miles, pull up for a picnic, or take part in the numerous water sports.

Akbuk town is small but has a good selection of shops, an internet cafe, diy store, grocery stores and a supermarket.  There are a selection of bars and restaurants, but nothing along the lines of its neighbour Altinkum.
