Altinkum, Turkey. Why Invest in Altinkum?

Altinkum, TurkeyProperty in Turkey has become very popular. People are discovering for themselves the great climate of this friendly country, and more importantly, the great property prices you can grab right now. This is the time to get in; prices will never be better.

Take Altinkum for example. It lies on the shores of the Aegean Sea, and if you know any Turkish, you'll know that the name means "Golden Sand." Altinkum doesn't stop at having one beach of golden sand though, it has three as well as the new Didim Marina.

Property in Turkey, especially around Altinkum, is a buyer's dream. With the soaring prices of property in the UK and other European countries it's like a breath of fresh air to discover the prices in Altinkum. You might think they have forgotten to add a zero!

There is one thing about Altinkum property, and property in Turkey in general, that is a slight cause for concern; the prices are rising. This is a natural result of the popularity of the area, but it also means that those who get in now will be the lucky ones.

Those who invest in property in Altinkum, Turkey now will probably marvel at the bargain they secured for a long time to come. Yes it's true – along with Altinkum's ancient history you can still get property for what seems like ancient prices from a bygone age, but this situation certainly won't last forever!

Turkey is steeped in a wealth of history that exceeds its property prices, and around Altinkum it seems there is all the history you could ever need. You could explore and discover new ruins and historic sites every day for years if you chose to. The supply seems endless.

A little inland from Altinkum is Didyma. This was once a sacred site dedicated to the sun god Apollo. A great temple was built here and it is one of the best historic sites in the region. Minibuses run regularly every day to take you to the temple, but it isn't too far to walk if you prefer a more leisurely mode of transport. It's good exercise too.

The world's second largest ancient historic site is Ephesus. It's a classical city in almost perfect preservation, and you can live right next to it, or close by at least, if you're serious about property in Turkey.

There's really nothing quite like Pamukkale. It's probably best described as an eternal waterfall system frozen in time. Let me explain… The salts and other minerals in the water that cascaded over the cliffs at Pamukkale have crystallized over the centuries.

The waterfalls frozen in time are white and look for all the world like ice, even though the temperature may be touching 40 degrees Celsius! Seek out the therapeutic Pamukkale waters at Cleopatra's Spa. The people who live here can do this every week – or every day even.

As well as the many natural amenities, the area around Altinkum abounds with man-made amenities. The Altinkum Aqua Park is fairly self-explanatory. It was built in 2004 and is a very popular place for those who took the plunge and secured their very own property in Turkey. And of course, when you live in a place like Altinkum, Turkish baths are simply one of the better parts of life.
