Oludeniz is one of the most beautiful and rare wonders of the world, nicknamed ‘Blue Paradise’, the lagoon is famed for its breathtaking beauty and is one of the worlds most photographed beaches.
A paradise for those interested in watersports, it is also a popular place for passing yachts to drop anchor as well as paragliders who jump from the ‘world heritage’ Babadag mountains which provide the backdrop to Oludeniz, down to the Belcekiz Beach below.
The resort lies behind the sheltered lagoon with its crescent beach, amongst pine clad hills which has been declared a conservation area of natural beauty. There is a wide variety of international restaurants as well as cafes, bars, and shops along both the waterfront and in the narrow streets leading back from the beach.
Other places of interest close to Oludeniz are the mud baths of Dalyan and the beautiful Butterfly Valley, where millions of butterflies live amongst the pines. The only way to reach Butterfly Valley is by boat or water taxi from Olu Deniz beach.
