We can arrange inspection visits with accommodation and airport transfers, but if you would prefer to travel under your own steam, we can make viewing appointments over one or two days where we can arrange to pick you up from your hotel and show you around. Although we try to be flexible, sometimes we do have other appointments booked so to avoid disappointment, please let us know a couple of days in advance if possible. When you are viewing property in Turkey, it is a good idea to take a camera and make a note of what you have seen - your likes, dislikes, things that could be changed, questions you need to ask ect. during the evening you can go through these and speak to your agent about them the next day. This is also a good way to delete from you list those that you do not like, and perhaps arrange a second viewing on those that you do.
At the end of your visit, or viewing trip, if you have decide to proceed with buying a property in Turkey , you will need to have funds in place to pay a holding deposit to have the property taken off the market, following within 7-10 days with a 10% deposit. Buying a property or land in Turkey is a straightforward procedure as all property and land is freehold.
We can then help with getting a solicitor who will check that the property is legal and make sure the title deed (tapu) is authentic, take care of paper work, check that the certificate of habitation has been issued on the property, ect., assist you with opening bank accounts, obtaining your tax number, arrange for translators, military checks, paying taxes, setting up utilities, furnishings and the numerous other little things that are needed to buy a property in Turkey.
